Bible Study

This chapter shows that the people of Judah refused to believe that God would destroy Jerusalem and end David's kingly line. God used Ezekiel to use symbolic actions to show what they would experience as a result of their rebellion.

How sad it is that even after those dramatic demonstrations of God's coming judgment that they still did not believe and repent. How many signs do we need God to give us that we will repent and change our lifestyle towards more Christlike before it is too late?

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Will God's judgment come?

Jesus reminds me of my past that I had been like the people of Judah for many years living in a kind of lifestyle against God's standard. He did lots of warning but I was not scared and did not repent or change. Until I get into a more and more intimate personal relationship with Him and especially these few years of having more time with Him that I change naturally to be more like Him.

The three words I keep on receiving the past year's of writing this blog on Old Testament are: stubborn, rebellious and unfaithful.

We can never be 100% Christlike, so God will keep on using all kinds of means to warn us, encourage us and teach us to understand how stubborn, rebellious and unfaithful we can be so that we can repent, renew and be more like Jesus!

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help us to know that your judgement will come soon if we do not want to repent and change to be more like you. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
