DAY 135 - Give thanks for 2009

Today’s Reading: 1 Corinthians 2

Please read 1 Corinthians 2: 1 – 16 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method: Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf . (You may begin with a song to praise the Lord and complete you devotion by singing another praise song.)

However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him” – but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Early at 1:50a.m on 1 January 2001, I received a question from the Lord to myself and you: How do you give thanks to God for what he blessed you in 2009?

Have you received anything from the Lord that your eyes have not seen, your ears have not heard and your mind has not conceived? What has God revealed to you by the Holy Spirit?

Let us count His blessings in the first day of 2010, and prepare a thankful heart to enter into this New Year.

Happy New Year!

I give thanks to you for the year 2009 - A year of harvest, peace, joy and love. Help me to enter into your preparation to enjoy this new year. May we be for one another full of your protection, blessings and anointing. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

  1. Dear Pastor Silas, A Happy New Year to you and your family and the family of God at Emmanuel! Isaiah 43:19,20 "For I am going to do a brand new thing. See, I have already begun! Don't you see it? I will make a road through the wilderness of the world for my people to go home, and create rivers for them in the desert!...springs in the desert, so that my people, my chosen ones can be refreshed." 1Cor.2:15,16".....But the spritual man has insight into everything......to move the hands of God by prayer." Dear Father God, Thank you that we can talk to you and go forward in this New Year 2010, working along side you, because, by your Holy Spirit, we can have the mind of Christ!

  2. Thanks Pat for your confirmation of my two calls quite some times ago from Isaiah 43: 19, 20 and 1 Cor. 2: 15-16. I see this call and vision become a reality recently! Happy New Year to you?
