Bible Study

This chapter is a short chapter but a useful and meaningful chapter.

The people of Jerusalem are compared to a vine that is unable to grow fruit, it is useless. Therefore Ezekiel prophesies that God would burn them in the fire. And it did happen to Jerusalem.

Jesus taught this same message in John 15: 1-7 that for those who fail to remain faithful to him who cannot produce spiritual fruit will be cut off from a relationship with him and thrown into the fire.

Do you think you are a useless vine?

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: A useless vine!

What Jesus gives me today is that I need to live out what He says in John 15: 1-7 in my daily life. There are so many things blocking us to be a branch in the true vine. We need to have regular pruning in order to bear more fruit, much fruit.

Let's work hard to be a useful vine!

Dear Lord Jesus,

Help us to follow you and to establish a true daily intimate personal relationship with you so that we can be a useful vine. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
