And so Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Exodus 40: 33-34
Yesterday I asked you to count how many "Yes Sir" in chapter 39? Right after each work completed, same words appear "as the Lord commanded Moses" in Chapter 39 and 40. There are 10 times in chapter 39(v. 1,5,7,21,26,29,31,32,42 and 43)and 8 times in chapter 40(v. 16,19,21,23,25,27,29 and 32).
The Lord leads me to focus on verse 33 that after all those "Yes Sir" and mission accomplished then the glory of God came and filled the tabernacle. And, they learned to wait for the presence of God as a sign for their going or staying.
What I heard from Jesus is very simple but important: "Your obedience prepares God's glorious presence"
Often we do not want to obey God's command and what we don't know is that we miss God's presence! What a waste!
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to obey you totally that I can experience your glorious presence. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
Thanks for all your prayers! Michelle and I are quite disappointed for the report has not arrived yet. So, we need to wait again. The next VGH appointment is next Monday and this time will be seeing the doctor in charge. Patience is one of many lessons we have been learning the past four months!
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia yesterday. We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/
