The anointed priest is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the Lord. Leviticus 4:4
Once again like yesterday, Jesus led me to another passage to understand this chapter:
When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man-made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death,so that we may serve the living God!
Hebrews 9 11-14
The anointed priest, the leader, the member of the community who sinned, the elders on behalf of the community were to lay their hands on the animal before killing the animal. Do you know why? Because the animal took the sins away as an "atonement" for the person's sin and he will be forgiven(v. 20,2631 and 35). Did Jesus take all your sins away, did His blood cleanse your sins and do you keep nothing wrong in you so that you can be forgiven and that you can serve the Living God?
Dear Lord Jesus,
Cleanse me with your blood and that I am willing for you to take away all my sins so that I can be worthy to serve the Living God. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
I am getting a little bit nervous and anxious regarding what will happen tomorrow when Michelle receive the report. It's like a kind of feeling that we are in the eye of a big storm! Need your prayers!
