"You must not live according to the customs of the nations I am going to drive out before you. Because they did all these things, I abhorred them... Your are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own." Leviticus 20: 23, 26
Jesus reminded me of an incident at a Starbuck yesterday. I went to Starbuck with Michelle and a friend of ours. He met a friend and joyfully chatted for a while; then he said, "Do you know ___ ?" His friend said, "Oh, yes of course. Your friend?" "Ya, from church." "What? He's a Christian? Oh, my God! You really need to pray for him!"
There are so many Christians living a lifestyle in which other people can't believe they are Christians! We really need to know that we as children have been set apart from those worldly customs and that people should know that we are Christians from our Godly lifestyle.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to live a true Godly lifestyle. Truly in Christlikeness. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
I escorted Michelle to see her doctor today as a two weeks regular check up. Everything is good and she officially starts her two years maintenance period today. She has to take quite some pills in these two years and may have some minor side effects!
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. His one word of experience is "JOY"! Please click this link to read his wonderful sharing:http://21ethiopiandays.wordpress.com/
