Today's Reading: Leviticus 5
Please read Leviticus 4 and listen to what the Lord Jesus Christ would like to tell you before reading my Spiritual Journal below. If you would like to learn a simple and good way of Daily Devotion method please read my “Count Down 5” from this blog. You may click this link directly for the method:Subject Shifting Devotion.pdf. If a person sins and does what is forbidden in any of the Lord's commands, even though he dies not know it, he is guilty and will be held responsible. Leviticus 5:17
Praise the Lord! It was a wonderful two hours at VGH. Michelle's tube was removed, though she had a small operation for half an hour. The doctor described that as bloody and messy, for it was not easy to pull the tube out after four months. I asked the chief doctor whether all her cancer cells were gone and the answer was YES but she needs careful observation for two years. So, starting today, Michelle is being put into a two year's Maintenance Stage and needs to go to a local Richmond clinic for blood sample and then to VGH for consultation every two weeks. She cannot board an airplane until mid-September, and hopefully in two years time she is really completely healed. Thanks for your love, care, prayers, gifts and everything during our most difficult time. It is so wonderful and blessed that we experience how wonderful Church is!
Today I intentionally publish this post 14 hours later than the regular time(1:21a.m.) for I know that many of you are waiting to hear the news ASAP. What I received from Jesus of Leviticus 5 is how blessed we are now as compared to the Old Testament time. God used all kinds of laws and ways to help the Israelites to deal with sins. We as human beings do not have the ability to know what's wrong with us. That's the job of the Holy Spirit to reveal our sins:
Jesus says, "When the Holy Spirit comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment. " John 16: 8
Without asking the Holy Spirit to shine on us to reveal our sins, we are unable to see ourselves for we are so "blind". So, may I invite you to try using the Subject Shifting Devotion Method today to ask the Holy Spirit to help you. You can find the link in the beginning of this post.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for giving us a new day. Thank you for giving us so many brothers and sisters who love us so much that we can be able to face this storm and be more close to you. Help us to remember this blessed experience that in you everything will be WELL. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
My son, Ignatius, completed his three weeks mission in Ethiopia a few days ago.We are so joyful to welcome him home and know that he experienced God mightily in that three weeks. ReplyDeleteWhen we prayed for Michelle and you last night, it's probably the time of your day break. We too felt the kind of anticipation yet also a bit of tension while we waited for the news of Michelle's report. The first thing I did when I switched on the computer this morning is to visit your blog. Thanks be to God for this wonderful news!
We trust that God is with you and everything is in His hands. We will continue to pray for your whole family!
Love in Christ,
Alice & Chiu Ming
Thank God for His Healing! I am so happy for you both
