Bible Study

We read in Ezekiel 3: 17, "Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from me."

We read how God challenged Ezekiel to do some unreasonably acts in chapter 4. Here in this chapter, more unreasonably challenges from God to Ezekiel. I think if there is someone who wants to do this kind of thing now might be delivered to a mental hospital and treat with electrical shock! So, is Ezekiel God's prophet or just a crazy guy?

What is the message that Jesus wants to tell your through this chapter?

My Spiritual Journal

What I got from Jesus today is: Is Ezekiel God's prophet of a crazy guy?

What I heard from Jesus is that when He prepares us to the "listen and obey" journey he is going to give us some challenges so that we are being trained to exercise listen and obey. That's why it happened in chapter 4 and 5 as a training and as the first few exercises from God to release Ezekiel as a prophet. Well, just the first few minor steps!

So, how about you? Do you know what are those examinations that God has already given to you? Do you have the discernment that they are from God and if they are really from God, do you have the courage to execute?

Dear Lord Jesus,

Open our eyes to see how much you want us to enter into a listen and obey journey that you can work through our listen and obey that your Kingdom work can be done. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen.
