When Priscilla and Aquila heard Apollos, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately. Acts 18: 26

Lots of leaders do things on their own, and cannot train and raise up leaders. But here Paul demonstrates a good example of how to live out a Missional Lifestyle to raise up a second generation.

Jesus shows me today how to live out this good example:
1. Good relationship with Jesus: verse 12 shows that there was a “united attack” on Paul but because of Paul's intimate relationship with the Lord, he knew that he did not need to be afraid and did not need to be silent but rather stay on course.

2. Stay to train the first generation of leaders: In the midst of a “united attack”, Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half to train Aquila and Priscilla the Word of God.

3. Release your disciples to new mission fields and train their first generation of leaders: After that 1 ½ years, Paul brought Aquila and Priscilla to their new mission field and they did the same strategy, as Paul taught them to train Apollos.

Dear Lord Jesus,
Help me to focus on you in the midst of “united attack” in order to train disciples for you to extend your Kingdom. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
