Paul and Barnabas had such a sharp disagreement that they parted company. Barnabas took Mark and sailed for Cyprus, but Paul chose Silas and left, commended by the brothers to the grace of the Lord. He went through Syria and Cilicia, strengthening the churches. Acts 15: 39- 41

I have seen quite a lot of sharp disagreements causing anger, rage, malice, slander, discord and many more splitting the whole church. Here Paul and Barnabas gave a good example of how to solve with sharp disagreement: from one team to two teams to encourage and strengthen churches.

You know, Satan laughs at us when we have sharp disagreements causing disunity of our church. Doing God’s way to deal with sharp disagreement is a secret that we need to learn so that God’s name may be glorified.

Dear Lord Jesus, Open my eyes to see your wish for us to be united. Help me to have the wisdom to do your will in the midst of sharp disagreement. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
